Research topics
Over the 4 year project duration, the MBR-TRAIN partners offer research opportunities on various aspects of membrane bioreactor technology. According to their duration one can distinguish short-term and long-term projects.
- Short term projects (6-12 months) - These projects provide excellent opportunities for researchers already being involved in the MBR research area. They are suitable especially for students who like to gain experiences abroad in the course of their ongoing PhD project based at another institution.
- Long term projects (18-36 months) - These projects provide a broader approach to the MBR research field. The early stage researchers will become acquainted with responsibility and different issues of scientific work. Through a well structured and complete training the fellows will be thoroughly prepared for professional work in this research area. Secondment to a partner institution is a fixed element in these projects.
